Outfitting the Shop

As we prepare to open our doors in a few months we decided that we had better start looking for furniture for the shop. The aesthetic we are going for is not something we can accomplish with IKEA so our budget required that we get creative. After much craigslist surfing, deal hunting, and thrifting things are really starting to come together!

Chair from Kmart - can you believe it! Rebecca found them on an interior design blog she follows and they are just beautiful!

An awesome craiglist find...how beautiful is this mirror!
A few weekends ago we went to the Vintage Bazaar in Lincoln Square (Chicago) and walked away with some great vintage pieces:

Rebecca isn't quite sold on this back-in-the-day telephone chair (think top tray for phone, second tray for phone books) but once we recover the cushion I am convinced we can do something cool with it!
Cleveland thrifting - some great deals from Lorain Ave.

And since Anthropologie is our inspiration, we HAD to have these floor samples - good thing I was able to use my birthday discount!

Sure we have some painting and fixing up to do, but I think we are off to a good start!
