Bite Sized, Big Taste

When planning our wedding my husband and I didn’t put much time and effort into the wedding cake, it was low on our priority list and at one point we were thinking of not having cake at all. We started thinking of different ways to serve dessert and one idea we had were petite fours; although they are still cake they are a bit different from one large traditional cake and you can get so many different flavors and shapes. They can also be inexpensive! We thought we could give each guest 3-4 different flavors presented on a long rectangular plate at each place setting. Although we ended up with a low key traditional wedding cake, I still think petite fours are a different but elegant way to serve a sweet treat at the end of your wedding meal!
