Almost all brides have heard this old Victorian good luck wedding custom and most brides try to incorporate it into their wedding day. There are a lot of ideas floating around as to why blue was integrated into this rhyme but I like the thought, that in ancient times the color blue was a sign of faithfulness and loyalty; two traits I believe a bride wants to exude on her wedding day. Shoe Crystals: If blue footwear is a little too bold for you, you can still put some blue in your step with shoe crystals. Simply pick up some small crystals at the craft store and you will be able to add a personalized something blue to your shoe in moments!
