A few weeks ago we called in a favor with the extremely gifted Arielle Doneson Photography to get some new pictures of our boutique. So much has changed since we opened 2 and a half years ago that our current images just weren't accurately representing Something White. Here are some of the amazing photos she took - we can't wait (and have already started) to use them here there and everywhere!
A few weeks ago we were invited to a cocktail party hosted by The Knot at Doubletree Tudor Arms Hotel downtown. We've posted about Tudor Arms before (we had a photo shoot there with Shi Shi Events) and we absolutely love it with it's grand ballroom and beautiful fire places! It's truly a unique space- not a typical hotel ballroom at all! So there was no question we were going to attend, and since Kirkbrides was in charge of the event details we knew it was going to be amazing, and it sure did deliver! Below are some pics- enjoy!

We are so excited to be participating in a style shoot tomorrow inspired by the film "Bright Star" and the John Keats poem it is named for. For those of you who have not seen the movie, you should consider renting it soon if for no other reason than the pure loveliness of the images on the screen - sure to inspire any wedding planner. Here is a crash course on the storyline:
With this as a starting point, photographer Arielle Doneson dreamed up a style shoot with more ingenuity at every turn. You can see the full inspiration boards on Pinterest here, but here is a preview of some of my favorites. Can't wait for the style shoot to unfold tomorrow!
When I got married I knew that I wanted a photographer who would provide me with digital copies of me all of my photos so that I could print and use them as I pleased. What I did not consider however is that sharing the proofs with others prior to the arrival of our wedding album would be a bit tricky - I ended up bring my laptop with me everywhere so that I could put on a little slide show! In addition there were so many photos (never a bad thing!) that it was sometimes difficult to get a "birds eye view" of all of them in making decisions about which I wanted to use.
That is why I LOVED this "proof album" that one of our brides got from her photographer Genevieve Nisly.
While still getting all of her images on disc this proof album allows for easy sharing of photos soon after the wedding (especially with your favorite bridal shop owners who are dying to see every detail of your special day!!). Thanks Jackie!
