I was perusing the Kate Spade website for another blog post when I came across some shoes I just had to share. I always love Kate Spade shoes but this season I think she has some real beauts that could double as wedding shoes!

Last week I spotted these shoes on Style Me Pretty and I just love (no pun intended) their subtlety. No need to push love in your face or be over the top, these are just pretty shoes with a sweet saying. And what I love more is that you can totally wear these again and people might not even notice what they say, they can just be gorgeous shoes.

Perfect Bridesmaid Shoe

Still looking for the perfect bridesmaid shoe that each one of your girls will be excited to wear after the big day? Look no further! Karin actually bought these Nine West shoes recently and has raved about them since and I think with their nude patent leather they look adorable with almost every one of our Alfred Sung bridesmaid dresses. I might have just bought a pair myself:)

New Year's Eve Wedding

Lately, I've really been pushing my engaged, or soon to be engaged, friends to consider a New Year's Eve wedding. Just imagine how amazing it would be with twinkle lights, lots of glitz and glamour and of course a countdown to the New Year with plenty of champagne! And if you’re like me then your typical New Year's Eve plans have high hopes but never seem to be as fun as you anticipate. However, weddings are always fun so having one on NYE would guarantee your plans are just as great as you imagine. And I would also love to see these fabulous shoes peaking out from the bride’s gown!

Wedding Dresses and Boots

I'm on the lookout for some new knee high brown boots for the fall, I know I'm behind as it's already November and I'm sure summer sandals will be coming out next month, but I just can't seem to purchase boots before fall really hits. Anyway, as I search for boots I can't stop thinking about the below photos and how this bride has paired tall boots with her wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses and made it look absolutely, flawlessly perfect without any hint of cowboy.

Wedding Shoes

This past weekend I was talking with a bride-to-be about her upcoming wedding, when she brought up the difficulties she has had finding stylish, wearable, 'non-bridal' wedding shoes. I agree, finding wedding shoes can be very challenging; you have to take so many factors into consideration. Are they the right color; will they be comfortable; is the heel the right height; can I wear them again; are they affordable; are they fashionable! With all these factors it’s not hard to see why she is having a difficult time. To ease her frustrations, I offered to conduct some research to see what I could find on the Internet and in stores. Below are the fruits of my labor. When you view the pictures you will notice three things, 1) all the shoes have simple embellishments and are basic; I believe the less bridal the shoe the more use you will get out of it after your wedding and why not buy a pair of shoes you can actually wear again! 2) Most of the shoes are champagne in color; this was intentional as I believe champagne pairs well with any color dress (wedding or other), which means more use for your shoes after your big day! 3) All the shoes are high heels; I am a high heel girl and don’t believe in wearing bridal sneakers or ballet flats on your big day- but that’s just my opinion. All of the below shoes are currently available online or in store and only a few will break your wedding budget! Enjoy!

Wedding Shoes

The tradition of having clone like bridesmaids seems to be fading; bridesmaid don't enjoy wearing ill fitting dresses or styling their hair the same exact way all in an effort to look like everyone else. Bridesmaids like to be comfortable on your wedding day and that includes wearing a bridesmaid dress that fits correctly and wearing their hair any way they want. So how do you let your bridesmaids feel comfortable but also provide cohesion between your bridal party? This picture from Style me Pretty made me think: why not tell your bridesmaids they can wear any dress they desire, style their hair any way they want, but that you will buy them matching shoes! Matching shoes are a lot less obvious than matching dresses or matching hair and if you purchase the right color and fabric your bridesmaids can definitely wear them again!
